The hotel, motel or transient lodging staff shall maintain records documenting the <br />stay of guests, and these records shall be made available for inspection by the City <br />during regular business hours upon reasonable notice. <br />5. Amenities provided shall be for hotel and motel guests and their visitors onl_� amend_ <br />within designated secured areas. Amenities shall be for health relaxation and <br />recreational purposes for guests, as determined by the facility developer. <br />6. Hotel and motel buildings may require additional buffering and screening above the <br />minimum requirements listed in the City's Unified Land Development Regulations <br />when the hotel/motel is adjacent to residential uses or residentially zoned property_ <br />The site will be required to provide along the perimeter a minimum ten (10) foot <br />buffer ard, a minimum six (6) foot high masonry screen wall irrigated landscaping <br />for screening, and directional lighting away from the adjacent residential land uses or <br />residentially zoned property. <br />7. Hotels, motels and transient lodgings that provide a comnlimentary breakfast for <br />guests may receive an intensity bonus of up to 10% above the permissible floor area <br />ratio or room total. <br />8. The maximum occupancy of a hotel/motel room is governed by the Florida Fire <br />Prevention Code, although hotel/motel operators or managers may further restrict the <br />maximum occupancy. <br />9. Except for "vacation rentals" as defined by state law, hourly rentals apartment leases <br />or the sale of units as fee simple condominiums for temporary or permanent <br />residence are prohibited. If a change in use of a hotel/motel to multi -family units is <br />approved by the City, the facility will be subject to the density limitations and <br />property development regulations applied to all multi -family buildings. <br />10. For extended stay hotels only: <br />a. All access points must have a secured entry and be monitored through <br />security cameras with proper site lighting; <br />b. Interior corridors or hallways leading to and from rooms except <br />emergency exits, shall be provided. Exterior access hallways are <br />prohibited. <br />SECTION III. Part III, Unified Land Development Regulations, Chapter V, Glossary, <br />Article XXI, Language and Definitions, Section 5-21.2, "Definition of terms", of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, (City) is hereby amended by adding and amending <br />definitions to read, to include: <br />Bed and breakfast lodging. Overnight accommodations with a meal(s) in a dwelling unit provided to <br />transitory lodgers for compensation. <br />Extended stay hotels (also, all -suite hotel).
