7/29/2020 <br />LPA 19-12.• Planned Unit Devvlopment, Dei elopment <br />A,gr-eements, ,S'ize and Dimension Oitend, and Townhouses <br />REQUFSIT, <br />Planning stall requests that the Planning and Zoning Commission review the proposed <br />ordinance to amend Article III, Development Agreements, Article XX, Planned Unit <br />Development, Section 2-5.4, Size and Dimension Criteria, and Section 2-7.21, To«uhouscs, of <br />the Unified Land Development Regulations (IJLDR). <br />BACKGROUND: <br />,me City continuously monitors and reviews the Code of Ordinances and the Unified Land <br />Development Regulations to ensure appropriate regulations for development. and zoning <br />nidiin the City, and from time to time recognizes the need to study and amend aspects of the <br />same. Planning stall has identified inefficiencies and discrepancies in information across <br />multiple articles and sections of the IJLDR. To provide staff hhith time to review and resolve <br />these conflicts, the City Commission adopted legislation in progress on February 10, 2020 via <br />Resolution 20-3118 and again on June 22, 2020 via Resolution 20-3165. Tic resolutions <br />established the need and direction for staff to study and amend the associated regulatory <br />language to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. <br />
