CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING SEPTEMBER 12, 2019 The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Karen Consalo, Esq. Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE Karen Consalo, Esq. CITY STAFF PRESENT Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor Tim Alcuri, Senior Code Compliance Officer Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer Matt McDonald, Code Compliance Officer Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Officer Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Special Magistrate advised that the August 8, 2019 Minutes would be approved at a future meeting. STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE Supervisor Campbell, advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. SUBSEQUENT CASE CE -19-000514 1436 SR 436 • Discontinued sign, ULDR Section 3-16.7.d Supervisor Campbell, advised that this case is now in compliance, and representative was present to speak to this case. The property was brought into compliance on August 28, 2019. The Special Magistrate asked how long the property was in violation. Supervisor Campbell, advised the property was in violation for six days. The Special Magistrate asked the amount of the fine/lien was. Supervisor Campbell, advised it ran for six days at $50 per day ($300). They were trying to get more time, and excused were given. 1IPage
