CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2019 <br />The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry <br />Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Karen Consalo, Esq. Special Magistrate, called <br />the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Karen Consalo, Esq. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer <br />Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had any additions or corrections to the Minutes from the October <br />10, 2019 hearing; there were none. The Special Magistrate approved the Minutes from the October 10, 2019 hearing. <br />STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE <br />Supervisor Campbell, advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's notes, case <br />narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the <br />official record. <br />NEW CASES <br />CE -19-000612 139 Carriage Hill Dr. <br />• Fence in disrepair, City Code 3-10.3.b.1 <br />• Exterior walls, Standard Housing Code 305.2 <br />Officer Acevedo, provided testimony and read case information into record. The City requested a correction date of <br />12/29/2019. If no compliance by 12/29/2019, then a fine of $200.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of <br />noncompliance thereafter. The City requested a subsequent hearing date of 01/09/2020 to determine compliance. Linda <br />and James Svendsen; 816 Viscaya Ln. gave testimony. <br />Case 19-000612, located at 139 Carriage Hill Dr. was withdrawn from the November 14, 2019 hearing and will be re- <br />scheduled for another hearing date. <br />CE -19-002102 1523 Canterbury Cir. <br />• Health safety condemnation, 301.1 SUBAC <br />11 Page <br />
