E. Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Florida Department of Environmental Protection for a Sand and Grit Removal Grant for Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Related Budget Amendment #21-007 Introduction: Amendment #I to the Agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for the Sand and Grit Removal Grant and related Budget Amendment #21-007 provide for increased funding from $48,784 to $59,532.70 with a City match for cleaning and disposal of additional debris at the wastewater treatment facilities. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #21-007 will increase Water and Sewer Fund Grants/FDEP-SC052 Sand and Grit account #401-0000-334.90-06 and decrease Non -Operating Sources account #401-0000- 389.90-00 in the amount of $10,749. Funding for the City match of $10,749 was available in account #401- 0753-535.46-01 Repairs & Maintenance -Sand & Grit. BA #21-007 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to recognize Amendment #1 to the grant agreement with FDEP in the amount of $10,749 for Sand and Grit Removal at Wastewater Treatment Facilities.
