Resolution 20-3177 — Agreement with Sara Brady Public Relations Inc for Professional Public Relations, Consulting and Marketing Services "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SARA BRADY PUBLIC RELATIONS, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS, CONSULTING AND MARKETING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 20-3177 provides for an Agreement with Sara Brady Public Relations, Inc. for public relations, marketing and consulting services at a rate of $150/hour with an annual not -to -exceed amount of $50,000. Budget Impact: Funding for this service has been budgeted in Non -Departmental Professional Services account #001-0190-519.31-00. Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 20-3177. C. Resolution 20-3178 — School Resource Officer Agreement with the School Board of Seminole County "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR SERVICES OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 20-3178 authorizes an agreement with the School Board of Seminole County to share the cost of providing a School Resource Officer (SRO) at South Seminole Academy by funding $45,308 toward salary and benefits for the 2020-2021 school year. Budget Impact: The City has budgeted for its share of the School Resource Officer salary under the Regular Salaries and Wages account #001-0610-521.12-01. The revenue from Seminole County for the School Resource Officer's salary and benefits in the amount of $45,308 will be deposited as it is received into the General Fund SRO revenue account #001-0000-337.21- 01. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 20-3178.
