Domestic Wastewater means the wastes produced from noncommercial or nonindustrial activities, <br />and which result from normal human living processes, which are of substantially similar origin <br />and strength to those typically produced in households. <br />Duplicate Sample means two samples or aliquots collected at the same time from the same <br />locations. <br />Dwelling, Multiple means a building designed for, or occupied exclusively by two or more <br />families. <br />Dwelling (unit), Single Family means a building designed for or occupied exclusively by one <br />family. Also designated as "unit". <br />Effluent means a discharge of pollutants into the environment, partially or completely treated or in <br />its natural state. <br />Enforcement Response Plan (ERP) means a plan developed by the Control Authority in accordance <br />with 40 CFR § 403.8(f)(5) and approved by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />that defines the range or progressive enforcement actions based upon the nature and severity of the <br />violation; identifies the responsible personnel and documents for various enforcement actions; <br />establishes a tracking system; promotes a consistent and timely schedule for enforcement action; <br />and provides a fair and equitable means for enforcement of the federal, state and local regulations <br />and requirements for the wastewater programs. The ERP allows full and effective implementation <br />of the various wastewater programs. <br />Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) means the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or, <br />where appropriate, the EPA Region IV Water Management Division Director, or other duly <br />authorized official of said agency. <br />Equalization means a pretreatment process consisting of detention of a wastewater flow in a large <br />tank, sump, or headbox to smooth out surges. <br />Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) means equal to the average daily flow of a single-family <br />residence, which is 300 gpd. <br />Existing Source means any source of discharge which is not a "New Source" as established by <br />EPA in accordance with Sections 307(b) and (c) of the Act (33 USC § 1317). <br />Existing Source Dental is any facility subject to the EPA Dental Office Category Rule 40 CFR <br />Part 441, whose first discharge to the sewage system occurred on or before July 14, 2017. <br />Final Report refers to Ninety Day Compliance Report. <br />
