PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />A. Selection of Voting Delegate at the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that the Florida League of Cities (FLC) has asked <br />each municipality to designate one official to be the voting delegate for the FLC Business Meeting <br />scheduled for August 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended the City Commission consider designating a voting <br />delegate for the Florida League of Cities 94"' Annual Conference Business Meeting. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Commission regarding this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to appoint Commissioner Mark Busch as the <br />City's voting delegate for the Florida League of Cities 94' Annual Conference <br />Business Meeting to be held August 14, 2020. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Waiver of Bid Process for Public Relations, Marketing and Consulting Services <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon advised that for a number of years Sara Brady Public <br />Relations, Inc. had provided media and other services for the City, but the contract and extensions with her <br />firm had now been fully exhausted. The normal process would be for the City to solicit proposals for the <br />professional public relations, marketing and consulting services which had been provided by Ms. Brady's <br />firm; however, Mr. Newlon felt that the City has been very satisfied with the services rendered by Ms. <br />
