CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of March 23, 2020 — Regular Meeting
Page 13 of 13
Vice Mayor Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4:
• Added to the previous comments, noting that the Unqualified Opinion issued on the
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report was great and quite an achievement.
• Also commented that the passing of the referendum was a defining moment for the City, and
he was looking forward to what the future has to hold after we get through the current situation
with the virus.
Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5:
• Echoed everyone's previous comments, adding that after all the hard work over the past two
years, the passing of the referendum was very exciting. She added her thanks to all who had a
part in it.
Mr. Newlon advised that the next meeting was scheduled for three weeks from now on April 13th, and staff
would be working on an alternative meeting mode, possibly a virtual meeting set-up. He noted that there
was also a possibility that the business scheduled for that meeting on the 13th could be deferred to the second
meeting in April on the 27th which would put the next meeting five weeks out, and he wanted the
Commission to be aware of that possibility depending on developments related to the Coronavirus
pandemic.
18. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION: 4/27/20
ATTEST:
Donna G. Gardner, CMC
City Clerk
