All were present. <br />4. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />City Manager Randy Newlon gave a brief overview of what had taken place since the City Commission's <br />acceptance of the Parks, Recreation, Pathways and Open Spaces Master Plan in 2017. He advised that two of <br />the City's consultants would be presenting working drafts of the individual Site Master Plans for three of the <br />six specific parks on which the City has focused for potential enhancements. He advised that the purpose of <br />the workshop was for the consultants and staff to receive input from and have discussions with the City <br />Commission and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as to the proposed concepts and amenities for each <br />of the parks, but no decisions would be made, or action taken at this meeting. <br />Dew Drop Park <br />Presentation: Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer Kelly Brock introduced Ms. Kristin Caborn, <br />Senior Manager of Planning for GAI Community Solutions Group, the planning consultants for two of the <br />three parks which are the focus of tonight's workshop. Ms. Caborn introduced her associates who were also <br />present at the meeting which included Mr. Glenn Herbert, Senior Manager of Landscape Architecture, Ms. Jo <br />Tolentino, Landscape Designer, Ms. Sheeba West, Community Design Manager, and Mr. Ian Mancini, <br />Landscape Designer. She then gave a presentation detailing the process that had been followed to create the <br />draft Dew Drop Park Master Plan and highlighting each of the proposed amenities, which included the <br />following components: <br />Where we are: Project Scope <br />Context <br />Project Initiation; Opportunities & Constraints Analysis <br />Public Input <br />Draft Concept Plan <br />o Program elements: <br />■ Entry features <br />■ Multi -use trail <br />■ 2-5- and 5 -12 -year-old playground <br />■ Splash pad <br />■ Zip line <br />■ Exercise stations <br />■ Tennis, basketball & volleyball <br />■ Boardwalk & fishing pier <br />■ Stormwater/raingarden <br />■ Sensory garden <br />■ Parking lot <br />Audience Participation: The following individuals came forward: <br />
