Resolution 19-3114 — School Resource Officer Agreement with Seminole County <br />School Board <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD <br />FOR SERVICES OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 19-3114 provides for an agreement with the Seminole County School Board to <br />share the cost and provide $39,989.50 toward salary and benefits for a School Resource Officer (SRO) at <br />South Seminole Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year. <br />Budget Impact: The City has budgeted for their share of the School Resource Officer Salary under the <br />Regular Salaries and Wages account #001-0610-521.12-01. The revenue from Seminole County for the <br />School Resource Officer's salary and benefits in the amount of $39,989.50 will be deposited as it is received <br />into the General Fund SRO revenue account #001-0000-337.20-01. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 19-3114. <br />C. Resolution 19-3115 — Residential Solid Waste Fuel Adjustment <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A RATE ADJUSTMENT FOR FUEL IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE <br />COLLECTION WITH WASTE PRO OF FLORIDA, INC.; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 19-3115 provides for a rate adjustment for fael inflation related to Residential <br />Solid Waste Services by Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. (Waste Pro) effective July 1, 2019 to December 31, <br />2019. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding is available in the FY 2019 Solid Waste Fund Other Contractual <br />Services account #118-0730-534.34-00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 19-3115. <br />
