32.4 Bargaining unit employees who are assigned to, and perform the duties of K-9 officer, shall be <br />relieved from duty one-hour per scheduled shift for as long as they are assigned the duties of K-9 officer. <br />It is further agreed and understood by any employee so assigned, that this is total payment for any and all <br />off-duty time for dog handling and/or care. <br />32.5 All bargaining unit employees residing in the City of Casselberry shall receive a 2.0% wage <br />supplement for as long as they reside in the City of Casselberry. <br />32.6 If any additional compensation or benefits, beyond those already provided for in State Statutes, are <br />legislated by the State, and the cost of such additional compensation or benefits is not sufficiently funded <br />by the State, thereby increasing payroll and benefit costs to the City, the parties at the request of the City <br />shall re -open negotiation as to compensation and benefits contained in this Agreement. "Compensation or <br />benefits" includes, but is not limited to: pensions or other retirement benefits; workers' compensation or <br />other disability programs; workweek; sick leave, holidays, or other paid leaves; uniform or clothing <br />allowances; training, certification or educational incentive compensation; but excluded the benefits <br />currently provided in Chapter 185, Florida Statutes. <br />32.7 Effective upon ratification of this Agreement by both parties, the pay ranges for the bargaining unit <br />employees shall be as follows: <br />Based on 2093 hours per year: <br />Police Officer: $43,460 — 65,190 (midpoint = $54,325) <br />Police Corporal: $45,410 — 68,116 (midpoint = $56,763) <br />Police Sergeant: $52,830 — 79,256 (midpoint = $66,038) <br />Any wage increase required to bring bargaining unit employees up to the minimum of the pay range for <br />their position shall be applied after the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 wage increase in paragraph 32. LA above. <br />32.8 Bereavement Leave will be provided in the same manner as non -bargaining employees. <br />
