CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 12, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />Budget Impact: The estimated revenue from the Streetlight Assessment has been proposed to be budgeted <br />in the FY 2019-20 Street Light Fund Special Assessments/Service Charges account #120-0000-325-20-00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 19-3113. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Resolution 19-3113. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Resolution 19-3113. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to <br />Resolution 19-3113. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Resolution 19-3113, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Congratulated Commissioner Meadows who is celebrating his wedding anniversary today. <br />• Also wished Commissioner Hufford well as he begins his vacation travels tomorrow. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />• Gave a brief update on recent case law relating to gun regulations in which a Florida Court <br />ruled that local officials cannot be punished for violating the Firearm Preemption Law. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />• Provided the following reminder of the City's next upcoming event: <br />o Travel Country Outfitters' RunYak, Saturday, August 17` at Secret Lake Park, starting <br />at 8:00 a.m. Additional information about this and other City events can be found in <br />
