CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of August 12, 2019 — Regular Meeting Page 9 of 11 Budget Impact: The estimated revenue from the Streetlight Assessment has been proposed to be budgeted in the FY 2019-20 Street Light Fund Special Assessments/Service Charges account #120-0000-325-20-00. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 19-3113. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and questions regarding Resolution 19-3113. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one came forward to address Resolution 19-3113. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Resolution 19-3113. MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Resolution 19-3113, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 12. OTHER ITEMS No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. 13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of decorum. No one came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT • Congratulated Commissioner Meadows who is celebrating his wedding anniversary today. • Also wished Commissioner Hufford well as he begins his vacation travels tomorrow. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT • Gave a brief update on recent case law relating to gun regulations in which a Florida Court ruled that local officials cannot be punished for violating the Firearm Preemption Law. 16.
