<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA
<br />NOTICE OF BOND REFERENDUM ELECTION
<br />TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Electors of the City of Casselberry, Florida, of a Bond Referendum Election
<br />to be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in conjunction with the State Presidential Preference Primary Election
<br />regarding Casselberry General Obligation Bonds for Parks and Recreational Facilities. The City of Casselberry
<br />is proposing to issue General Obligation Bonds, in one or more series, in an amount not exceeding Twenty -
<br />Four Million Dollars ($24,000,000) (the "Bonds"), to renovate, improve and construct parks and recreation
<br />facilities, including renovation, expansion and replacement of buildings and athletic venues, and other park
<br />improvements (the 'Project'). The Bonds shall be general obligations of the City secured by and payable from
<br />ad valorem taxes levied upon and collected from all taxable property within the City. The Bonds shall mature
<br />in not more than twenty (20) years from issuance and shall bear interest at a rate not exceeding the maximum
<br />rate permitted by law at the time of the sale of the Bonds. The Referendum to authorize issuance of such
<br />Bonds is provided by Ordinance 19-1526, adopted by the City Commission on November 18, 2019.
<br />The question to be placed on the ballot for consideration by the Electors of the City of Casselberry will be:
<br />Casselberry General Obligation Bonds for Parks and Recreational Facilities
<br />To renovate, improve and construct parks and recreation facilities, including renovation, expansion
<br />and replacement of buildings, athletic venues, and various other park improvements, shall the City be
<br />authorized to issue general obligation bonds, in one or more series, not exceeding $24 million, bearing interest
<br />not exceeding maximum legal rates, maturing not later than 20 years from issuance, pledging the City's ad
<br />valorem tax revenues and full faith, credit and ad valorem taxing power?

<br />NO — AGAINST BONDS
<br />All polling place locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. — 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Polling
<br />place locations will be advertised in the newspaper by the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections on the
<br />Sunday prior to the election.
<br />Early Voting will begin on Saturday, March 2, 2019 and end Saturday, March 14, 2019, held between the
<br />hours of 10:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. daily at the following locations:

<br />West Branch Library, 245 N. Hunt Club Boulevard, Longwood
<br />Northwest Branch Library, 580 Greenway Boulevard, Lake Mary
<br />East Branch Library, 310 Division Street, Oviedo
