Resolution 19-3134 — Glen Academy at Lake Marie Replat Final Plat (SP 19-04) <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING THE GLEN ACADEMY AT LAKE MARIE REPLAT; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 19-3134 provides for the Glen Academy at Lake Marie Replat Final Plat (SP <br />19-04). <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Resolution 19-3134 for the Glen Academy at Lake Marie Replat Final Plat (SP 19-04). <br />C. Resolution 19-3135 — Application for Florida Recreation Development Assistance <br />Program Grant <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION RELATING TO <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE FLORIDA RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br />ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SECOND PHASE OF A NEW <br />PARK IN NORTHERN CASSELBERRY UNDER THE WORKING NAME "WHEEL PARK — <br />CASSELBERRY — PHASE 2"; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 19-3135 provides for approval to submit an application for a Florida Recreation <br />Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grant for the development of the second phase of a new park <br />in northern Casselberry under the working name "Wheel Park — Casselberry — Phase 2". <br />Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. However, the grant requires a local <br />match of $200,000 for a total project cost of $400,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis. <br />Therefore, if awarded, the City would need a future Budget appropriation to recognize the revenue, allocate <br />the match, and allow expenditures on a reimbursement basis. This may apply to future budget year(s). <br />Based on the City's current CIP (Capital Improvement Program), $200,000 in local funding would be <br />provided for this project in Fiscal Year 2020-2021. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 19-3135. <br />
