Introduction: Resolution 19-3106 and Budget Amendment #19-045 provide for the purchase of five parcels of land, which are adjacent to the Casselberry Golf course in the proximity of Queens Mirror Circle and S. Triplet Lake Drive, from DAYPART, LLC for the total amount of $15,000 plus closing costs estimated at $8,000. Budget Impact: The approval of the Vacant Land Contract has a budgetary impact for the City of Casselberry. The purchase price for the five parcels is $15,000 and closing costs are estimated to be an additional $8,000. The total budget for this acquisition is $23,000 and it will be charged to the Land Account for the Parks and Maintenance Division #001-0410-572.61-07. The source for funding will be the Other Non -Operating Sources. Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 19-3106 and related Budget Amendment # 19-045. G. Resolution 19-3109 — Committing to the 10-Minute Walk Campaign and Authorizing Related Grant Application "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, COMMITTING TO THE "100% PROMISE" OF THE 10-MINUTE WALK CAMPAIGN AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION FOR A 10- MINUTE WALK PLANNING GRANT TO ASSIST WITH PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION EFFORTS TO ACHIEVE THE "100% PROMISE" 10 MINUTE WALK GOAL FOR IMPROVED ACCESSIBILITY TO PARKS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 19-3109 provides for approval to commit to the 10-Minute Walk Campaign and submit a related 10-Minute Walk Planning Grant application to the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) to assist with planning and implementation efforts to achieve the 10-minute walk goal for improved accessibility to parks.
