8. Other Discussions: Chairman Lasure had a concern about the effectiveness of the Board
as far, as giving input to some necessary processes and procedures. He said that the
Board has been in a "debriefing" stage and he would like to get more involved with the
managing of the lakes process. Ms. Williams stated that she will be working on updating
some codes and she can see if she can get the board involved with this. There is
possibly an intern joining her in the near future. There will be a draft of the elicit
discharge ordinance, regulating what residents can and cannot do. She may be able to
get the Board to review the draft. We will be getting a new street sweeper in the next
fiscal year in October. It will need another educational wrap. We would like it to be
different. If there is anything that you feel that you want the Board involve in, let her
know.
Chairman Lasure has someone that is interested in being a member of the Board and he
asked if the member has to live on a lake, the answer is "no".
Mr. Case would like to get some additional Lakes Management Guide book. Ms.
Williams will get some copies for him.
Ms. Williams suggested that we could have a kayak or paddle board clean up. Chairman
Lasure mentioned that he has a media outlet. The pending time frame would be late
June, third or fourth week, early morning or late evening. If you have people interested,
send Ms. Williams an email and let her know.
9.
