CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD <br />The City of Casselberry Parks & Recreation Advisory Board held a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, <br />2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />1. Call to Order <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />OMEN :•1"M <br />Board Members Present: <br />Melissa Holmes, Chairman Kinsey Lallathin <br />Courtney Icenhower, Vice Chair LeAnn Nash (Alternate) <br />Katy Farmer <br />Board Members Absent: Dana Callan — excused <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Linda Moore, Recreation Manager <br />Joanne Duncan, Recording Secretary <br />Dr. Kelly Brock, Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer <br />4. Approval of Minutes — August 14, 2018 <br />Member Icenhower moved to approve the minutes of the August 14, 2018 meeting, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Member Lallathin. Motion passed unanimously 5-0. <br />Member Nash inquired whether as the Alternate her name should be included in the Roll Call for <br />meetings when the full Board is present. Ms. Duncan and Ms. Moore advised they would check with the <br />City Clerk as to whether the alternate should be included in the roll call for future meetings even when <br />the full Board is present. <br />5. Items for Discussion: <br />a. FRDAP (Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program) Grant for Wheel Park Phase II <br />Dr. Kelly Brock gave a presentation on the FRDAP (Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program) <br />Grant proposal for the development of Wheel Park Casselberry - Phase II. This second phase includes a <br />hybrid bicycle pump track and skate park, parking, picnic area with pavilion, and restrooms. The <br />maximum grant amount is $200,000 and will require a local match of funds. <br />1 <br />
