Residential housing in the City includes
small neighborhoods, large gated
communities, and a number of
condo/apartment complexes that are
available at varying price ranges for families,
singles and retirees. Construction on a new
luxury apartment complex on U.S. 17-92,
Sole' at Casselberry, was completed in 2017
and is currently leased to full capacity. The
opening of Allegro, a 50 -unit senior assisted
living facility offering a wide range of
amenities, occurred in 2018, and construction
on 41 new residential garden homes in the
Greenville Commons development is
underway, indicating that progress and growth in the City continues.
Another housing option also became available with the recent expansion of Lake Concord
Park. A planned development across from City Hall brings both a residential and retail
mix to the community, which will dramatically improve and enhance this area on the
commercial corridor of U.S. Hwy. 17-92.
The residential portion, Integra Lakes at
Lake Concord Park, has been completed
with 203 apartment units that are currently
leased close to capacity. Plans are being
finalized with SunTrust Bank to construct
a banking office on one of the three
adjacent commercial parcels which front
U.S. Hwy. 17-92 and restaurant/ retail
establishments are planned to follow.
These are a few of the many changes that have occurred in Casselberry over the years,
transforming it into the vibrant City you see today. As more plans for development and
redevelopment are realized, this transformation will continue well into the future.
13
