CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING APRIL 11, 2019 The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Karen Consalo, Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE Karen Consalo CITY STAFF PRESENT Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor Tim Alcuri, Senior Code Compliance Officer Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer Matt McDonald, Code Compliance Officer Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Officer Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had and additions or correction to the minutes from February 14, 2019. There were none. The Special Magistrate adopted minutes from the February 14, 2019 hearing. STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. REDUCTION REQUESTS CE -17-000485 214 Cannon Way • Roof maintenance, ULDR Section 3-10.3.A.4 Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the property was in violation for 397 days, the homeowner was dealing with their insurance company during this time. The property owner has some health issues during this time. The City recommends a reduction of the fine to $202.42, the administrative cost already paid. 1IPage
