CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 25, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />was included in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained <br />information about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Also advised for the record that he had authorized an emergency purchase for repair of a leak in one of the <br />holding tanks at the City's water reclamation facility in the amount of $11,300. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Advised that her firm was still reviewing comments from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission on the proposed Settlement Agreement, and she hoped to have the Agreement back to the City <br />Commission for consideration shortly. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Provided reminders for the following upcoming events: <br />o Spring Jazz and Art Festival, Saturday, March 2"' from 6-9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park <br />o Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar, Friday, March 8`i' from 6-9 p.m. at <br />Lake Concord Park <br />o Mardi Gras Music Festival and Mardi Paw Dog Parade, Saturday, March 9"' from 5-9 <br />p.m. at Lake Concord Park <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows - Seat No. 2: <br />Thanked Commissioner Busch for his willingness to serve as the City's representative to the <br />Seminole County Alliance. <br />Stated he was looking forward to all of the upcoming parks projects and shared that while on <br />his travels he had definitely noticed that the cities that had the best amenities, including parks <br />and trails, were the most vibrant. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Attended the State of the County Luncheon on February 14` and noted that one of the issues <br />highlighted in the presentation by the County were the planned improvements to Oxford Road <br />about which Mr. Casselberry had earlier expressed concerns. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />0 Thanked staff for moving so quickly on completing the tree permit assessment and bringing <br />
