CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 25, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />4. ROLL CALL <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present, with the exception of Commissioner <br />Hufford, who arrived at the meeting at 5:23 p.m. <br />Mayor Glancy recognized two Boy Scouts with Troop 341 who were in the audience, Austin (no last name <br />given) and Ryan (no last name given), who both stated they were working on their Citizenship in the <br />Community Merit Badges. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of February 11, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the February 11, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br />A. Effects of Tobacco Sales <br />The Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) and the Tobacco Free Seminole Coalition (TFSC) gave <br />a presentation focusing on Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS — E-Cigs), Tobacco Retail <br />Licensing (TRL), Point of Sales (POS) and the effects/impacts these are having on the health and well- <br />being of the youth and citizens of Seminole County. <br />7. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Budget Amendment #19-027 — Purchase of Property for Lake Concord Park <br />Expansion <br />Introduction: Approval of Budget Amendment #19-027 which provides for a transfer of funds in the <br />amount of $1,000,000 from the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to the City of Casselberry for <br />the sole purpose of purchasing specific property for the expansion of Lake Concord Park is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #19-027 provides funding for Lake Concord Park land acquisition <br />by transferring funds in the amount of $1,000,000 from the CRA Land account #113-0210-515.61-07 <br />through inter -fund transfer to the City's General Fund Parks Division Building account #001-0410-572.62- <br />35 in the amount of $561,019 and the Land account #001-0410-572.61-07 in the amount of $438,981. <br />
