Ordinance 19-1508 — Amending the Official Zonina Designation for the Property <br />Located at 2610 S. US Highway 17-92 (ZB 19-03� <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1508 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER II, ARTICLE IV, <br />SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO PMX-MID <br />(PLANNED MIXED-USE: MEDIUM RISE) FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 1.88 -ACRE PARCEL <br />LOCATED AT 2610 S. U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92, CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED IN <br />SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Planner I Christina Hyson stated that Ordinance 19-1508 amends the Official Zoning <br />Map from CG (Commercial General) to PMX (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise) for the property located <br />at 2610 S. U.S. Highway 17-92 consisting of approximately 1.88 acres. Notification was provided to the <br />surrounding property owners within 500 feet and written notice was posted on the subject property on <br />December 19, 2018. The Planning and Zoning Commission, serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), <br />voted unanimously at its February 13, 2019 meeting to recommend approval of the amendment to the City <br />Commission. The request to amend the Official Zoning Map from CG (Commercial General) to PMX- <br />MID (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise) for the subject property is consistent with the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan and the existing MTMU (Major Thoroughfare Mixed -Use) Future Land Use <br />designation; compatible and consistent with the adjacent land uses and zoning districts; and City services <br />are available at the subject property and will not be negatively impacted. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Ordinance 19-1508 on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 19-1508. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Ordinance 19-1508 on first reading, <br />as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Ordinance 19-1509 — Amending and Restating the City of Casselberry Police <br />Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1509 by title, as follows: <br />
