Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />The group met on Tuesday, January 1511i and City Manager Randy Newlon reported that there had been a <br />general discussion on how each of the cities was handling the distribution of 5G technology relay poles in <br />the rights-of-way within their jurisdictions. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. Ordinance 19-1506 — Amending the Future Land Use Designation for the Property <br />Located at 547 Lake Howell Road (LPA 19-04) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1506 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM SEMINOLE COUNTY MEDIUM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO CITY OF CASSELBERRY MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR AN <br />ANNEXED APPROXIMATELY 1 -ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT 547 LAKE HOWELL ROAD, <br />AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Planner I Christina Hyson stated that Ordinance 19-1506 amends the Future Land Use <br />Map designation from Seminole County (County) Medium Density Residential to City of Casselberry <br />(City) Medium Density Residential for the recently annexed property located at 547 Lake Howell Road <br />consisting of approximately one (1) acre. Notification was provided to the surrounding property owners <br />within 500 ft. and written notice was posted on the subject property on December 19, 2018. The Planning <br />and Zoning Commission, serving as the City's Local Planning Agency (LPA) voted unanimously at its <br />meeting on January 9, 2019 to recommend approval of the amendment to the City Commission. The request <br />to amend the Future Land Use Map from County Medium Density Residential to City Medium Density <br />Residential for the subject property is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; compatible and <br />consistent with the adjacent land uses and zoning districts; and City water and sanitary sewer services are <br />available to the subject property. However, staff will determine during the site plan review process whether <br />future development can connect directly to the existing public sewer infrastructure or if an additional lift <br />station will need to be installed by the applicant. <br />
