CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />Commended staff on working to help the City of Casselberry to achieve designation as one of <br />278 workplaces named Best Workplaces for Commuters in 2019, due in large part to the City's <br />compressed work week. <br />Requested an update from staff on the planned development in front of the Integra Lakes <br />Apartments along U.S. Highway 17-92. Mr. Newlon advised that plans for the bank had passed <br />all reviews on the City level and the project was now awaiting FDOT (Florida Department of <br />Transportation) approval relating to the in and out access along U.S. Highway 17-92. <br />Commissioner Hufford added that the bank had recently merged with another and he was <br />hopeful the merger would not affect the project moving forward. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Commended staff on code enforcement efforts relating to some dilapidated housing issues in <br />the City. <br />• Pleased to see that the conversion to the new Click2Gov software for permitting was working <br />well, with 90% of permits now being paid online. <br />• Commended Police Department staff for participating in the Cops and Cars for Kids Central <br />Florida Law Enforcement Car Show benefitting several local charities. <br />• Shared that the Leadership Seminole class on Friday, February 7'' had been held in the City of <br />Casselberry and he was happy to have had the opportunity to showcase the City and some of <br />its art and sculpture exhibits for the class participants. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. l: <br />Added that as a facilitator for the Leadership Seminole Class on February 7` he was proud to <br />report that the class had received a high score. Mayor Glancy also commented that she was <br />very happy that the City of Casselberry was included as part of their class program each year, <br />giving participants a chance to see what the City of Casselberry has to offer in the area of the <br />arts. <br />
