CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD <br />The City of Casselberry Parks & Recreation Advisory Board held a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 11, <br />2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />1. Call to Order <br />Vice Chairman Courtney Icenhower called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Vice Chairman Icenhower led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />3. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: <br />Dana Callan <br />Courtney Icenhower —Vice Chair Katy Farmer <br />Kinsey Lallathin LeAnn Nash (Alternate) <br />Board Members Absent: Melissa Holmes -Chairman (Excused) <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Linda Moore, Recreation Manager <br />Joanne Duncan, Recording Secretary <br />Dr. Kelly Brock, Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer <br />4. Approval of Minutes — November 13, 2018 <br />Member Icenhower moved to approve the minutes of the November 13, 2018 meeting. Motion was <br />seconded by Member Lallathin. Motion passed unanimously 5-0. <br />5. Items for Discussion: <br />Dr. Brock discussed the solicitation of contractors for professional services for park planning efforts on <br />several parks for potential inclusion in a voter referendum for park funding. The overall plan is to <br />create a conceptual plan with cost estimates for proposed improvements. Several public meetings are <br />planned on January 9, 2019 6-730 at the Casselberry Recreation Center and on February 9, 2019 12- <br />130 at Dew Drop Park. In March, April timeline, a revised plan will be designed based on feedback and <br />cost estimates. <br />There is no additional action needed from the Parks and Recreation Board at this time. <br />Ms. Linda Moore presented upcoming events as follows: <br />• A Parks and Recreation Annual Report is in the process of being created which will show <br />activities and programs held throughout the year, new projects that were created and <br />1 <br />
