SECTION II. REPEAL AND REPLACEMENT OF SECTION 86-192. Section 86-192, "Adjustment of bills", of Chapter 86, Utilities, Article III, Division 2 -Rates and Charges of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby repealed and replaced with new Section 86-192 — "Adjustment of Water and Sewer Bills" as follows: Sec. 86-192. Adjustments of Water and Sewer Bills. (a) The City must receive payment on all utility accounts by the due date. No service can be rendered free of charge to any customer. A customer's submittal of an Adjustment Request Application does not preclude the City from its usual collection efforts. including interruption of service. (b) Upon detection of excessive water usage, the City will use best efforts to notify the customer of the excessive amount of water used, and the City will allow the customer 72 hours to correct the matter. If the excessive water usage is not corrected within 72 hours. the City has the right to interrupt the service. (c) Under no circumstances will abatements, allowances, deductions or refunds be made on water supply service accounts because of water used, lost or wasted through carelessness or neglect. •- - - - - _ - -- - - - Sec. 86-192.
