SECTION II. REPEAL AND REPLACEMENT OF SECTION 86-192. Section 86-192, <br />"Adjustment of bills", of Chapter 86, Utilities, Article III, Division 2 -Rates and Charges of the Code <br />of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby repealed and replaced with new Section <br />86-192 — "Adjustment of Water and Sewer Bills" as follows: <br />Sec. 86-192. Adjustments of Water and Sewer Bills. <br />(a) The City must receive payment on all utility accounts by the due date. No <br />service can be rendered free of charge to any customer. A customer's submittal of an <br />Adjustment Request Application does not preclude the City from its usual collection <br />efforts. including interruption of service. <br />(b) Upon detection of excessive water usage, the City will use best efforts to <br />notify the customer of the excessive amount of water used, and the City will allow <br />the customer 72 hours to correct the matter. If the excessive water usage is not <br />corrected within 72 hours. the City has the right to interrupt the service. <br />(c) Under no circumstances will abatements, allowances, deductions or refunds <br />be made on water supply service accounts because of water used, lost or wasted <br />through carelessness or neglect. <br />•- - <br />- - <br />- <br />_ - <br />-- - <br />- - <br />Sec. 86-192.
