The City
Commission also commits to incorporate the development of the "Wheel Park — Casselberry — Phase 2"
project into its Capital Improvement Program, should the project receive State funding, across City Fiscal
Years 2019-2010, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 to align with the grant time limits required by the State.
Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. However, the grant requires a local
match of $200,000 for a total project cost of $400,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis.
Therefore, if awarded, the City would need a future budget appropriation to recognize the revenue, allocate
the match, and allow expenditures on a reimbursement basis. This may apply to future budget years.
Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of
Resolution 18-3061.
