CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of October 8, 2018 — Regular Meeting Page 2 of 15 4. ROLL CALL The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present. 5. MINUTES A. Minutes of September 24, 2018 — Regular Meeting MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the September 24, 2018 Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS A. Presentation: Florida Department of Health 2018 Healthy Communitypions Award Planner I Christina Hyson stated that in April of 2018 City of Casselberry staff had submitted an application to the Florida Department of Health's Healthy Community Champions Program, and that representatives from the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County were present at the meeting to make a presentation about the program and to recognize the City of Casselberry for its recent efforts to promote health across the Casselberry community. She then introduced Ms. Herronda Mortimer, Healthiest Weight Florida Coordinator in Seminole County, Ms. Venise White, Community Programs Manager of the Office of Health Promotion & Education in Seminole County, and Ms. Donna Walsh, Health Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County, who gave a presentation about the Healthiest Weight Florida program and presented the City of Casselberry with an award recognizing the City for being one of forty-six communities statewide to receive recognition as a 2018 Healthy Community Champion. Ms. Hyson and Ms. Walsh also shared that City and Health Department staff were working together to possibly have the City of Casselberry host the Live, Work, Move Seminole 5K event in April of 2019 and Ms. Hyson would keep the City Commission updated on progress towards that goal. 7. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approval of Legal Services Invoices Introduction: Approval of the legal services invoices from the City Attorney and the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate is requested.
