The City Commission also commits to incorporate the development of the "Wheel Park —
Casselberry" project into its Capital Improvement Program, should the project receive State funding.
Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. However, the grant requires a local
match of $250,000 for a total project cost of $500,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis.
Therefore, if awarded, the City would need a future Budget Appropriation to recognize the revenue, allocate
the match, and allow expenditures on a reimbursement basis. This may apply to a future budget year.
Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of
Resolution 18-3044.
