City Attorney Legal Services • July 2018 Invoice No. 76301 $ 23,951.32 Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney's invoice are available in FY 2018 Budget Account No. 001- 0140-514.31-01. Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the legal services invoice as submitted. C. Resolution 18-3044 — Application for Florida Recreation Development Assistance Pry "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION RELATING TO FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE FLORIDA RECREATION DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW PARK IN NORTHERN CASSELBERRY UNDER THE WORKING NAME "WHEEL PARK — CASSELBERRY" AND COMMITTING TO AMEND THE CITY'S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM IF AWARDED FUNDS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 18-3044 approves submittal of a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grant application to the State of Florida for Fiscal Year 2018-19 to provide financial assistance for the development of a new park in northeast Casselberry under the working name "Wheel Park — Casselberry" for a total of $500,000 (consisting of $250,000 in requested assistance and $250,000 in local funding) and authorizes the City Manager to execute said document on behalf of the city of Casselberry. The City Commission also commits to incorporate the development of the "Wheel Park — Casselberry" project into its Capital Improvement Program, should the project receive State funding. Budget Impact: There is no immediate impact to the City Budget. However, the grant requires a local match of $250,000 for a total project cost of $500,000, and the grant is provided on a reimbursement basis. Therefore, if awarded, the City would need a future Budget Appropriation to recognize the revenue, allocate the match, and allow expenditures on a reimbursement basis. This may apply to a future budget year. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 18-3044.
