CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of August 13, 2018 — Regular Meeting Page 10 of 15 "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE FUTURE LAND DESIGNATION FROM INDUSTRIAL (I) TO COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THIRTY-FIVE (35) PARCELS TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 4.5 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED AT 910, 920 AND 930 BELLE AVE. AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Planner I Christina Hyson gave an overview of Ordinance 18-1493 which amends the Future Land Use Map designation from Industrial (1) to Commercial (C) for thirty-five (35) properties generally located at 910, 920 and 930 Belle Avenue. Notification of the proposed Future Land Use Map amendment was provided to the surrounding property owners within 500 feet and the Planning and Zoning Commission, serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), voted unanimously at its July 11, 2018 meeting to recommend approval of this amendment to the City Commission. The request to amend the Future Land Use Map from Industrial (I) to Commercial (C) for the subject properties is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan, consistent and compatible with adjacent land uses and zoning districts, and City services are available at the subject properties and will not be negatively impacted. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Ordinance 18-1493 on first reading. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 18-1493. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 18-1493 on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. B. Ordinance 18-1494 — Amending the Zoning Designation for Properties along elle Avenue (Z13 18-04) The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1494 by title, as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER II, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM I (INDUSTRIAL) TO CS (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) FOR THIRTY-FIVE (35) PARCELS GENERALLY LOCATED AT 910, 920, AND 930 BELLE AVE, CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
