CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon — Seat No. 3: <br />Shared information about a recent visit to the City of Winter Garden and her observations of <br />all the improvements made in its downtown area, and noted she was hopeful the City of <br />Casselberry could continue making improvements to the Lake Concord Park area to create its <br />own downtown area. <br />Also shared that she recently had gone to two new restaurants in Casselberry, Pier 36 Fish <br />Camp oyster bar and Four Guys Pho Vietnamese Restaurant and was glad to see new <br />restaurants opening in the City. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Reported he was officially enrolled in Leadership Seminole and he was looking forward to the <br />new year's classes, which would begin August 1St <br />Thanked City Clerk Donna Gardner for her work on the City newsletter, stating he had received <br />a lot of positive feedback about it. In response to his questions, Ms. Gardner clarified that <br />anyone wishing to receive the newsletter by email could go to www.casselberry.org/notifyme <br />and they would receive an email with a link to the newsletter when it was published. <br />Gave kudos to the Police Department for several recent actions by some of its officers, <br />including giving out bike helmets to citizens who didn't have one, removing an alligator from <br />under a resident's vehicle, and one of the department's chaplains stepping in to comfort a <br />resident whose husband died unexpectedly at home. <br />Vice Mayor Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />No report. <br />
