CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 25, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 13 <br />Budget Impact: Funds to cover this project are available in the FY 2018 budget in the Distribution and <br />Collection's Repair and Maintenance Emergency Account #401-751-536.46-05 in the amount of <br />$59,794.75 and in the Repair and Maintenance Sewer Account #401-751-536.46-03 in the amount of <br />$36,786.25. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended City Commission review of the report for the <br />emergency force main replacement on Brittany Circle totaling $95,581. <br />Mr. Newlon advised that he would be out of the office for vacation from July 24` until August 7"' and had <br />appointed Public Works Director Mark Gisclar to serve as Acting City Manager in his absence. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report, but apologized for her late arrival to the meeting stating there had been a gas spill on I-4 which <br />shut down all lanes and which was compounded by pouring rain. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />• Announced for the public that there would not be a Regular City Commission meeting on <br />Monday, July 9, 2018, but instead there would be a Budget Workshop on that date. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Reported he was honored to attend the Installation of Officers ceremony for the Casselberry <br />Veterans Club last weekend, and was pleased to announce that Sergeant James Goodman had <br />been recognized as 2018 Police Officer of the Year by the organization. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Reported he had also attended the Casselberry Veterans Club Installation of Officers and <br />congratulated Sergeant Goodman for the well-deserved recognition. <br />Thanked the Finance Department staff for their hard work, which resulted in the City once <br />again receiving the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. <br />Advised he had an opportunity to participate in Leadership Seminole for the upcoming year if <br />the Commissioners had no objections, and the Commission as a whole expressed support for <br />his participation in the program. <br />
