Excuse Absence of Commissioner Sandra Solomon <br />Introduction: Commissioner Sandra Solomon has advised that she will be out of town and unable to attend <br />the June 11, 2018 Regular City Commission meeting. She has respectfully requested that her Excuse of <br />Absence be placed on the Consent Agenda for consideration. <br />D. Resolution 18-3032 — Implementation of Performance Measures to Achieve <br />Eligibility for Community Rating System <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING IMPLEMENTATION OF PERFORMANCE <br />MEASURES TO ACHIEVE ELIGIBILITY FOR THE COMMUNITY RATING SYSTEM; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 18-3032 approves and adopts performance measures to achieve eligibility for <br />the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS) which recognizes and <br />encourages community floodplain management activities that exceed the minimum NFIP standards. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager, the Public Works Director and the Finance Director recommended <br />approval of Resolution 18-3032. <br />E. Resolution 18-3033 — Street Li>;hting Assessment Preliminary Rate Resolution <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING <br />TO THE DELIVERY AND FUNDING OF STREET LIGHTING SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOSITION OF STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE <br />ENTIRE AREA OF THE CITY; ESTIMATING THE SERVICE COST TO PROVIDE STREET <br />LIGHTING SERVICES, FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS; ESTABLISHING <br />THE METHOD OF ASSESSING THE STREET LIGHTING SERVICE COST AGAINST REAL <br />PROPERTY THAT WILL BE SPECIALLY BENEFITED; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO PREPARE A PRELIMINARY STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENT ROLL; ESTABLISHING <br />A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER IMPOSITION OF THE PROPOSED STREET LIGHTING <br />ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE PROVISION OF NOTICE IN CONNECTION <br />
