Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />August 9, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />Fifth Item of Business: CU 17-10: 2890 South U.S. Highway 17.92. A conditional use request to allow trades <br />and skilled services without outdoor storage at 2890 South U.S. Highway 17-92. Parcel ID 08-21.30-506-0000- <br />004D. <br />Ms. Christina Hyson, Planner 1, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated August 9, <br />2017, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Addendum 1 was distributed to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission revising the conditions of approval (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). <br />Ms. Hyson said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 17-10 to allow trades <br />and skilled services without outside storage at 2890 South US Highway 17-92. She said staffs recommendation is <br />based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated August 9, 2017, and the conditions of approval <br />outlined in Addendum I. <br />After a brief discussion regarding the parking requirements, Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come <br />forward. Mr. Alexandre Barrios, 2890 US South Highway 17/92, Casselberry, Florida came forward. In response to <br />the Commission's question, Mr. Barrios explained that the waste produced from cutting the granite is packaged and <br />removed from the site. A brief discussion ensued regarding the delivery schedule for the granite. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. Mr. Douglas Campbell, 860 North State Road 434, #1009, Altamonte Springs, Florida came forward. <br />Mr. Campbell said before leasing the site, he visited their current location in Longwood and the site was very clean. <br />Mr. Campbell said there is an adjacent %2 acre of paved property to the north that is available to the tenant for <br />delivery truck use and additional parking. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 17-10. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 17-10 to allow trades and skilled services without outside storage at 2890 South US <br />Highway 17-92 based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated August 9, 2017, and the <br />thirteen (13) conditions of approval outlined in Addendum I including Attachments A — C. Mr. Bakalla seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />
