Planning & Zoning Commission/ Local Planning Agency Minutes May 9, 2018 Page 3 Sixth Item of Business: CU 18-09: 1555 State Road 436 Suite 1171. A conditional use request to allow the on-site consumption of beer and wine (2COP) at the Kai restaurant located at 1555 State Road 436, Suite 1171. Parcel ID 33-21.30-300.007A-0000. Ms. Christina Hyson, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated May 9, 2018, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hyson said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 18-09 to allow the sale of beer and wine (2COP) for on-site consumption at 1555 State Road 436, Suite 1171. She said staffs recommendation is based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated May 9, 2018, the staff report dated June 14, 2017, and the eleven conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Hyson said there was no outside seating. Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Isra Sunhachawi, 9433 Whisptering Meadows Lane, Orlando, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 18-09. Mr. Van Meter made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 18-09 to allow the sale of beer and wine (2COP) for on-site consumption at 1555 State Road 436, Suite 1171 based staffs recommendation, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated May 9, 2018, the staff report dated June 14, 2017, and the eleven conditions of approval outlined in the staff report including Attachment A — E. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. The next two items were discussed together. Seventh Item of Business: SPR 18-03:1419 State Road 436. A major site plan request to redevelop a property to construct a 3,820 square foot restaurant, Metro Diner, located at 1419 State Road 436. Parcel ID 28-21-30- 300-056D-0000. Eighth Item of Business: CU 18-06: 1419 State Road 436. A conditional use request to allow the on-site consumption of beer, wine and liquor (4COPISRX) at the Metro Diner restaurant located at 1419 State Road 436. Parcel ID 28-21-30-300.056D-0000.
