Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />May 9, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />Sixth Item of Business: CU 18-09: 1555 State Road 436 Suite 1171. A conditional use request to allow the <br />on-site consumption of beer and wine (2COP) at the Kai restaurant located at 1555 State Road 436, Suite <br />1171. Parcel ID 33-21.30-300.007A-0000. <br />Ms. Christina Hyson, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated May 9, 2018, <br />and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hyson said staff recommends the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 18-09 to allow the sale of beer and wine (2COP) for on-site <br />consumption at 1555 State Road 436, Suite 1171. She said staffs recommendation is based on the findings of fact <br />and conclusions of the staff report dated May 9, 2018, the staff report dated June 14, 2017, and the eleven conditions <br />of approval outlined in the staff report. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Hyson said there was no outside seating. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Isra Sunhachawi, 9433 Whisptering Meadows Lane, <br />Orlando, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 18-09. Mr. Van Meter made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 18-09 to allow the sale of beer and wine (2COP) for on-site consumption at 1555 <br />State Road 436, Suite 1171 based staffs recommendation, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report <br />dated May 9, 2018, the staff report dated June 14, 2017, and the eleven conditions of approval outlined in the staff <br />report including Attachment A — E. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />The next two items were discussed together. <br />Seventh Item of Business: SPR 18-03:1419 State Road 436. A major site plan request to redevelop a property <br />to construct a 3,820 square foot restaurant, Metro Diner, located at 1419 State Road 436. Parcel ID 28-21-30- <br />300-056D-0000. <br />Eighth Item of Business: CU 18-06: 1419 State Road 436. A conditional use request to allow the on-site <br />consumption of beer, wine and liquor (4COPISRX) at the Metro Diner restaurant located at 1419 State Road <br />436. Parcel ID 28-21-30-300.056D-0000. <br />
