The City of Casselberry Lakes Management Advisory Board held a meeting <br />Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 6:30 p.m., in the <br />Casselberry City Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707 <br />Appointed Board Members Present: <br />Paul Blais <br />Alessandro Garabaghi <br />Brad Gonzalez <br />Laura Hatton <br />Austin Lasure <br />Jason McDonald <br />Marc Taylor <br />Appointed Board Members Absent: <br />None <br />Audience Attendee: <br />John Casselberry — 700 S. Lost Lake Drive, Casselberry <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Marissa Williams, Natural Resources Officer <br />D. Denyse Wilson, Staff Assistant II (Recording Secretary) <br />1. Call to Order: Chairman Brad Gonzalez called to order at 6:30 pm. He began by leading <br />everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. He welcomed everyone to the meeting. <br />2. Roll Call: Completed by Ms. Wilson. <br />3. Approval of Minutes: Chairman asked if everyone had read the minutes, and they all <br />responded that they had. Mr. Taylor made a motion to accept the minutes and Ms. <br />Hatton seconded. The motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Old Business — Stormwater Master Plan Updates by Ms. Williams <br />The item was presented to the City by Dr. Kelly Brock at a workshop and was very well <br />received. They were very supportive of the concepts that were detailed. They will be <br />reviewing the Master Plan at their last meeting in September, which will presumably be <br />the time that they would approve the document. The Board did not request any specific <br />changes. They suggest utilizing a monitoring system at Gee Creek for the out -flow <br />downstream of the weir. We proposed monitoring the flow by installing a meter to <br />determine the water elevation and velocity to properly calculate the amount of water <br />that is leaving the chain over the weir. The Commission was interested in fast tracking <br />that and pushing it into our next fiscal year budget instead of the following year, so they <br />could start gathering data specifically regarding concerns for the community adjacent to <br />it, Lake Kathryn Estates, and have a better understanding of the flow in that area for <br />
