Budget Amendment #18-017 — Office Renovation Project in Customer Service Introduction: Consideration of Budget Amendment #18-017 to provide funding for the Office Renovation project in the Customer Service area of City Hall is requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #18-017 will increase the Water and Sewer Fund/Building Improvements account #401-0133-513.62-25 and decrease both the Insurance account #401-0190-536.45-00 and the Other Current Charges account #401-0190-536.49-00. BA #18-017 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for the Office Renovation project in the Customer Service Division in the amount of $26,000. C. Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. Amendment #3 and Related Budget Amendment #18-019 Introduction: Consideration for contract renewal Amendment #3 with Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. for Building Official Services in an amount not to exceed $425,000/year and related Budget Amendment #18-019 to provide funding for the remainder of FY 2018 is requested. (Reference: RFQ20150003). Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #18-019 will increase the Building Fund/Other Contractual Services account #119-0221-524.34-00 and Other Non -Operating Source account #119-0000- 389.90-00. Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for the Building Official Services provided by Universal Engineering for the remainder of FY 2018 in the amount of $145,000.
