PUBLIC HEARINGS The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. Public Hearings are not intended to be a time for the public to obtain information about the subject matter of the hearing. (Hearing Sequence: 1 st - Staff; 2nd - Applieant/Requesting Party; 3rd - Public; 4th - opportunity for brief rebuttals, if appropriate; Final - City Commission motion, discussion and action.) A. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1477 - Amending Section 2-5.3 and Section 5-21.2 Relating to Pharmacies and Medical Marijuana Dispensaries (LPA 18-04) Ordinance 18-1477 provides for amending Section 2-5.3, Land Use by District and Section 5-21.2, Definitions, to include language as it relates to Pharmacies and Medical Marijuana Dispensaries. B. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1479 - Establishing a Future Land Use for Properties Located on Red Bug Lake Road (LPA 18-05) Ordinance 18-1479 provides for adoption on second reading, to amend the Future Land Use Map designation for eleven (11) properties located along Red Bug Lake Road from Seminole County Medium Density Residential (MDR) and City of Casselberry Low Density Residential (LDR) to City of Casselberry Medium Density Residential (MDR). C. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1480 - Establishing a Zoning Designation for Properties Located on Red Bug Lake Road (ZB 18-01) Ordinance 18-1480 provides for adoption on second reading to amend the Official Zoning Map designation for eleven (11) properties located along Red Bug Lake Road from Seminole County A-1 (Agriculture), Seminole Comity R -3A (Multiple Family Dwelling), and City of Casselberry R-9 (Low Density Single -Family Residential) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multifamily Residential). D. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1484 - Amending Article XVI, Signs (LPA 17-15) Ordinance 18-1484 provides for amending multiple sections of Article XVI, Signs, by adding a definition, revising language as it relates to on -premises permanent window signs, amending language pertaining to on -premises temporary signs, and modifying language as it relates to prohibited signs. 12. OTHER ITEMS A. City Labor Attorney Rate Adjustment Approval of a rate adjustment for labor and employment law attorney services provided by the law firm Fisher and Phillips, LLP from $265/hour to $280/hour effective October 1, 2018 is requested.
