ORDINANCE 18-1484 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING PORTIONS OF ARTICLE XVI, SIGNS, OF CHAPTER III, PERFORMANCE CRITERIA, OF THE CASSELBERRY UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 3-16.2, DEFINITIONS, TO INCLUDE A DEFINITION FOR "STREAMER SIGNS AND PENNANTS"; AMENDING SECTION 3.16.3, ON -PREMISES PERMANENT SIGN REGULATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 3-16.4, ON - PREMISES TEMPORARY SIGN REGULATIONS AND AMENDING SECTION 3-16.8, PROHIBITED SIGNS TO CLARIFY REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry finds and determines that it is appropriate to update and revise its Unified Land Development Regulations relative to signs, including definitions; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to provide clarification as it relates to streamer signs and pennants, temporary signs, window signs, and prohibited signs; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to ensure that each business shall have an equal opportunity to utilize signage; and WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original text and s#ke through shall constitute deletions to the original text. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Part III - Unified Land Development Regulations, Chapter III — Performance Criteria, Article XVI: Signs, Section 3-16.2, Definitions, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, shall be amended as follows: Section 3-16.2, — Definitions.
