BASED ON THE 2017 CONSUMER PRICE INDEX; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 18-3015 approves a rate adjustment payable to Waste Pro for residential solid <br />waste collection, increasing the base rate per home per month from $13.01 to $13.40 for regular and special <br />collection services and from $26.02 to $26.80 for side -door collection services, based on the 2017 CPI <br />(Consumer Price Index) calculations provided by Seminole County. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding in the amount of $9,252.36 is available in the FY 2018 Solid Waste <br />Fund Other Contractual Services account # 118-0730-534.34-00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 18-3015. <br />C. Award of Contracts for Continuing Professional Services for Surveying, <br />Geographic Information S sten, and Infrastructure Asset Management (SOQ- <br />2018-0273) <br />Introduction: Consideration to award three (3) contracts for continuing professional services pursuant to <br />SOQ-2018-0273, for Surveying, Geographic Information System (GIS), and Infrastructure Asset <br />Management, on a task authorization basis at an estimated expenditure not to exceed $500,000 per contract <br />for the period beginning March 26, 2018 through March 25, 2023 to the following firms is requested: <br />-Cardno, Inc. <br />-Dyer, Riddle, Mills & Precourt, Inc. (DRMP) <br />-Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corporation (SSMC) <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. Routine Public Works GIS services <br />have been budgeted in Fiscal Year 2018 in the amount of $7,500 each in the General Fund/Engineering <br />Professional Services account #001-0710-539.31-00 and the Water and Sewer Fund Professional Services <br />account #401-0750-536.31-00. Various operating and/or capital accounts in other City <br />Departments/Divisions may be used for future Task Authorizations under these contracts, subject to <br />available budgets. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to award <br />three separate contracts for continuing professional services for surveying, geographic information system <br />(GIS), and infrastructure asset management on a task authorization basis to: (1) Cardno, Inc., (2) Dyer, <br />Riddle, Mills & Precourt, Inc., and (3) Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corporation at an amount not <br />to exceed $500,000 per contract. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote .5-0. <br />
