Creation of Police Department Honor Guard Team and Related Budget <br />Amendment #18-009 <br />Introduction: Consideration to create an Honor Guard Team which would broaden the Police <br />Department's involvement in the community and to represent the City of Casselberry and the Casselberry <br />Police Department at local, county and state events, ceremonies, faith -based services, parades, and funerals, <br />etc., and approval of related Budget Amendment #18-009 are requested. <br />Budget Impact: Under Budget Amendment #18-009, the following accounts will increase to facilitate the <br />development and equipping of this new team. <br />1. Non-operating sources/other non-operating source account # 116-0000-3 89.90-00 will increase <br />by $15,164. <br />2. Law Enforcement Operational Supplies account #116-0610-521.52-00 will increase by <br />$10,665. <br />3. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding Consent Agenda <br />Item 7.1) — GSA Contract Purchase of High Security Paper Shredder and Related Budget <br />Amendment #18-005, stating he felt there should be security measures on the device itself to <br />avoid inadvertent destruction of current records. <br />
