Resolution 17-2998 — Adjustments to the FY 2017 Budget and Related Budget <br />Amendment #17-052 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ANNUAL <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2016 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,2017; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 17-2998 amends and revises the annual operating budget of the City of <br />Casselberry as approved on September 26, 2016 through Resolution 16-2913 for the fiscal year beginning <br />October 1, 2016. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #17-052 is also requested. <br />Budget Impact: The budget impact is as follows: <br />General Fund — transfers from/to differing departments to true -up budgets <br />Water and Sewer Utility Fund — transfers to/from differing departments to true -up budgets. <br />The Budget Amendment Summary provides detailed descriptions regarding the adjustments above. <br />Additional adjustments that do not impact fund balance are also included. <br />BA #17-052 <br />Explanation of Request: This request seeks City Commission approval to amend the Fiscal Year 2017 <br />budget in order to provide funding for cost overruns in the General Fund, Stormwater Utility Fund, <br />Community Redevelopment Agency Fund, Infrastructure Surtax Fund, Solid Waste Fund, Building Safety <br />Fund, Capital Improvement Fund, Water and Sewer Utility Fund, Renewal/Replacement Fund, Capital <br />Improvement Fund, Lake Concord Park Development Fund and Golf Club Fund. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />Various Various — See Budget Amendment Summary <br />Decrease: <br />Various Various — See Budget Amendment Summary <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Budget <br />Amendment #17-052 amending the City of Casselberry FY 2017 Budget. <br />D. GSA Contract Purchase of High Security Paper Shredder and Related Budget <br />Amendment #18-005 <br />Introduction: Consideration to purchase a FD 8730HS High Security Paper and Optical Media Shredder <br />for the Police Department from Sissine's Business Solutions under GSA Contract number GS-02FO209S <br />for the purchase price of $5,500, plus $30 for electrical parts to adjust the electrical outlet to be used by the <br />shredder, is requested. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #18-005 is also requested. <br />
