Procurement Information Report for the period 10/01/2017 through 10/31/2017 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of October 2017 was contained <br />in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about <br />minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Reported on several recent events which had been very successfiil, including: <br />o Casselberry Chamber of Commerce Food and Wine Festival in Lake Concord Park on <br />Monday, November 6th; <br />o Charity Basketball Game between the Casselberry Police Department and South <br />Seminole Middle School students on Friday, November 151. Admission was a canned <br />food item to benefit the school's food pantry which provides food to families in need <br />in the Casselberry community; <br />o Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar in Lake Concord Park on Friday, <br />November 10t"; <br />Reported on upcoming events, including: <br />o Employee Holiday Party Friday, December 1St <br />o Holiday Tree Lighting Saturday, December 2°d <br />o Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar featuring Santa Claus Friday, <br />December 8th; and <br />o Santa Run — City-wide December 5-7. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Advised she had distributed a litigation report to the Commissioners for their review <br />outlining the status of current litigation in which the City was involved. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Reminded everyone of the modified City Commission meeting schedule due to the <br />holidays: <br />o Monday, November 27, 2017 City Commission meeting— Cancelled; <br />o Monday, December 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. —Next regularly scheduled City Commission <br />meeting, and the only meeting for the month of December. <br />
