CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of December 11, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 15 <br />legislation in progress in order to subject applicants applying for any permits to the <br />requirements in the pending legislation. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to direct the City Manager and staff to <br />prepare an ordinance amending Article VIII, Section 2-8.1 of the Unified Land <br />Development Regulations to remove obsolete references to an exemption to the <br />requirement for more than one use in an MTMU future land use designated <br />property, as that requirement no longer exists, and designation of said revision <br />as legislation in progress for the purpose of subjecting permit applicants to this <br />legislation in progress. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />Recognized various members of City Staff, volunteers and corporate sponsors who had <br />worked very hard on City events connected with the busy holiday season, including: <br />o Employee Holiday Party December 1St <br />o Holiday Tree Lighting December 2nd <br />o Santa Run December 5th -7th <br />o Senior Christmas Party December 11th <br />o Art & Music in the Park & Food Truck Bazaar December 8th <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />• Wished everyone Happy Holidays. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Announced for the record that there would be no City Commission meeting on Monday, <br />December 25th and the next regular City Commission meeting would be held on Monday, <br />January 8, 2018. <br />Advised that the City was currently accepting volunteer board applications through <br />Monday, January 15, 2018 and City Commission appointments to those boards would be <br />made at the Monday, January 22nd City Commission meeting. <br />Explained that the Santa Run is all volunteer -driven and she could not say enough good <br />things about all those who had participated and helped to coordinate the event. She added <br />that it is an event that residents and non-residents alike look forward to and about which <br />the City receives a lot of positive feedback. <br />17.
