CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 14, 2017 — Workshop <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Queens Mirror Circle Pedestrian Safety Improvements <br />• In favor of leaving asphalt as the standard planned for the crosswalk at Rotary Park, with <br />brick included as a bid alternate. <br />• In favor of the installation of permanent speed feedback devices. <br />Quail Pond Circle Complete Street/Pedestrian Connectivity Improvements <br />• In favor of recommended "dark sky" or Sanibel down -lighting up to cul-de-sac and then low <br />path lights along shared path. <br />• In favor of wider than 8 ft. sidewalks, if affordable. <br />• In favor of brick crosswalks as bid alternate. <br />• In favor of wall to shield homeowner, but on property line to avoid "tunnel" feel to path. <br />Southcot Drive Bicycle/Pedestrian Improvements <br />• In favor of elimination of south side sidewalk widening. <br />• In favor of brick crosswalks as bid alternate for crossings at Sunset Drive and Southcot Drive. <br />• In favor of curb type F. <br />• Opposed to making Southcot Drive one-way. <br />4.
