18-1475 Amending Chapter 2 re Parks & Recreation Board Membership

(a) The functions, powers, duties and responsibilities of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall be as follows: (1) In conjunction with the Pafks and Reefealier Public Works Department, presentation of an annual report to the City Commission of the status of parks and recreational facilities within the City. This report is intended to include a survey and assessment of the needs for park facilities, recreational programs and activities, and cultural resources; an inventory of facilities and programs available during the previous year, status of programs and facilities being discussed and/or investigated by the Advisory Board, and recommendations by the Advisory Board for City Commission consideration of potential future facilities and programs to serve the citizens of the City. SECTION 4. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re - lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinance" may be changed to "Section, "Article," or other appropriate word. SECTION 5. CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 6. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance. SECTION 7. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after its passage and adoption. FIRST READING this �. _ `° day of A.D. 2018.
