(a) The functions, powers, duties and responsibilities of the Parks and Recreation <br />Advisory Board shall be as follows: <br />(1) In conjunction with the Pafks and Reefealier Public Works Department, <br />presentation of an annual report to the City Commission of the status of <br />parks and recreational facilities within the City. This report is intended to <br />include a survey and assessment of the needs for park facilities, <br />recreational programs and activities, and cultural resources; an inventory <br />of facilities and programs available during the previous year, status of <br />programs and facilities being discussed and/or investigated by the <br />Advisory Board, and recommendations by the Advisory Board for City <br />Commission consideration of potential future facilities and programs to <br />serve the citizens of the City. <br />SECTION 4. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of <br />the City of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this <br />Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re - <br />lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinance" may be changed to <br />"Section, "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION 5. CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict <br />with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 6. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this <br />Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to <br />invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 7. EFFECTIVE DATE.
