Mayor Glancy also advised that the City <br />of Casselberry would be hosting the Mayors/Managers Group meeting in February. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />No report, but advised that the City of Casselberry would be hosting the next scheduled meeting on <br />Wednesday, March Irl' at 6:00 p.m. <br />A. Resolution 18-3005 — Piggyback Agreement with Waste Pro for Residential Solid <br />Waste Collection Services <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 18-3005 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT WITH WASTE PRO OF FLORIDA, <br />INC. FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Management Analyst Kenna Henry gave a brief overview of Resolution 18-3005, <br />advising that this was a request to piggyback again on Seminole County's contract with Waste Pro for <br />residential solid waste services. She stated that the services would remain as they are currently, with two <br />garbage, one recycling, one yard waste pickup, and four community cleanups per year. She added that this <br />would be a 10 -year agreement and that Mr. Tim Dolan, Regional Vice President of Waste Pro was present <br />to address any questions the Commissioners might have. In response to questions from the Commission, <br />Mr. Dolan advised that a link to the City of Casselberry's website could be added to the Waste Pro website <br />for convenience of Casselberry customers and that new cleaner burning compressed gas burning trucks <br />were scheduled to be introduced over the next 24 months, and the City's logo could be included on the new <br />trucks if, desired. <br />Budget Impact: Funding to cover costs associated with the Residential Solid Waste Collection Services <br />agreement are available in the FY 18 Solid Waste Other Contractual Services account #118-0730-534-34- <br />00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 18-3005. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 18-3005. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 18-3005, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />
