CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 22, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 3 of 13 <br />Introduction: Resolution 18-3004 revises and amends the annual operating budget of the City of <br />Casselberry as approved on September 25, 2017 through Resolution 17-2990 for the fiscal year beginning <br />October 1, 2017. <br />Budget Impact: The First Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a <br />result of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the first quarter <br />of Fiscal Year 2018. The First Quarter Budget Transfer spreadsheet details changes made to the budget <br />within each department as approved by the City Manager. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 18- <br />3004. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Glancy reported she had attended a j oint meeting with the Executive Committee and the presentation <br />was a recap of what had occurred in 2017 and a presentation by motivational speaker Jordan George. She <br />advised that graduation would be in May of 2018, and that the 2018 Leadership Summit was planned for <br />February 23' from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lake Mary Event Center. She shared some of the details <br />of the Summit including registration, pricing information, and the speaker lineup, and encouraged those <br />who could to attend. She also asked the Commission to think about whether they would be interested in <br />participating as a team in the Bowling Green event in March, which is a fundraiser for Leadership Seminole. <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Glancy and City Manager Randy Newlon reported that they had both attended the meeting and the <br />topic of discussion was concern about the possible loss of recurring revenue if the voters choose to approve <br />
