Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Ordinance 17-1462 — Amending City Code Chapter 60, Parks and Recreation <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 17-1462 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; REPEALING AND <br />REPLACING CHAPTER 60, PARKS AND RECREATION, OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO CLARIFY CONFLICTS AND DUPLICATIONS WITH PARKS <br />RULES; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; CONFLICTS; SEVERABILITY; AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Recreation Manager Linda Moore gave a brief overview of Ordinance 17-1462, <br />explaining that the purpose of the ordinance was to remove duplications and inconsistencies with the current <br />policies, procedures and rules governing the operation of City parks; to redefine what constitutes a city park <br />and to include the Casselberry Golf Club in the definition; and to redefine some of the uses of the parks and <br />update general regulations governing those uses. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Ordinance <br />17-1462 on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 17-1462. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve Ordinance 17-1462 on first reading, <br />as presented. Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1456 — Official Zoning; Map Amendment for <br />Properties Located at 1316 1324 and 1332 Lake Drive (ZB 17-01) <br />The City Cleric read Ordinance 17-1456 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, <br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />
